What happens to what you send

What I collect
Your email address, and whatever you choose to add: name, organisation, and a message. If you tick the opt-in box I also record that you consented, when, and the exact wording you agreed to — so there's a clear record of what was asked.
Why I collect it
To reply to you. And, only if you opt in, to send the very occasional update. Nothing else — no profiling, no ad targeting.
Who sees it
Me. It lives in a private database on my own server, covered by the same off-site backup as everything else. I don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to third parties, and there's no third-party form or tracker in the middle — the form posts straight to my server.
How long, and removing it
It stays until you ask me to remove it. Email [email protected] and I'll delete your record. When list emails eventually start, every one will carry a one-click unsubscribe as well.
About the opt-in
The update box is unchecked by default and stays that way unless you tick it yourself. For now the form only records that you'd like updates; the sending side isn't built yet, so opting in won't produce any email until it is.
